Find a home away from home at the Brace in one of our 8 luxury en-suite bedrooms. The Brace is the perfect base to explore both the rolling Dorset hills & the stunning Coast.
Our 8 rooms offer a characterful space, each enjoying the peace & tranquillity of the local Countryside.
No streetlights (seeing the stars on a clear night is a highlight!), no phone signal (don’t panic, we have Wi-Fi!) and very few neighbours (Plush is a tiny hamlet but the Pheasants might stop to say hello!).
The Brace is the perfect retreat after a day exploring all that Dorset has to offer.
Four of our rooms can be found in the Garden Annexe (formerly the Skittle Alley) with the other 4 on the first floor above the pub.
GARDEN ROOMS
These rooms are our largest and will suit people staying for long or short periods. There are tables and chairs on the patio outside the rooms, a real sun trap and perfect for a morning coffee or an afternoon drink. Entry to the rooms is from our garden & there is easy access to the car park. There is a ramp to the rooms, but each room has a small threshold step.
Garden rooms can be set up as either a Super-King size double bed or twin beds & one of these rooms has a walk-in shower, whilst the other three have an extra wide bath with shower over. If you require twin beds or the walk in shower, please let us know when booking so we can ensure you are assigned the correct room.

PUB ROOMS
Pub rooms are situated on the 1st floor of the pub. These rooms have real character, with exposed beams, traditional cottage windows and window seats. Access to these rooms is via quite a steep internal staircase so may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
All pub rooms have King size double beds. Two of the pub rooms have extra wide baths with shower over, whilst the other two have Japanese style soaking tubs with shower above.

RATES
- £139.00 per room per night
- Single occupancy is £129 per night
- Rates are inclusive of breakfast – we offer a hearty Full English Breakfast or lighter Yoghurt & Granola, or both to really set you up for the day!
- Pets are allowed in a select number Garden Rooms and are charged at £15 per pet per night.
- Extra mattresses for children under 10 years are available at £15 per night
- We do not take a deposit, but we do keep card details on file to secure your booking. These are kept secure on our system & are only used in case of a no-show or a cancellation in the final 48 hours (you may cancel up to 48 hours before arrival without being charged). You settle your whole bill with us when you check out.
- Check in is guaranteed from 4pm, however, rooms are often ready from around 2.30pm (not guaranteed) so you are welcome to come earlier. If your room isn’t quite ready, you are welcome to join us for a drink in the bar whilst you wait. Check out is at 10am.
