Do I need to book a table?

We do take walk ins when we have tables available but we get extremely busy so booking is highly recommended.

If you are staying with us, we endeavour to reserve tables for all rooms on the first night of your stay but we can get very busy, especially if we have special events or dinners so cannot always guarantee it. Therefore we highly recommend booking a table with us in advance which will also help you to eat at your preferred time.

Call us on 01300 348357 or email us at info@braceofpheasants.co.uk to make a reservation.

Can I just come for a drink?

Of course! We welcome guests in for food, drinks & coffees.

Do you have a garden?

We have a beautiful beer garden at the back of the pub – perfect for pre-dinner drinks or long leisurely lunches in the sun!

Are you Dog Friendly?

Yes! We are very dog friendly, with water bowls & treats available to buy to spoil your furry friend. Dogs are welcome in the garden & to join you for lunch or dinner, we just ask that they are kept on a short leash at all times & that paws stay on the floor please. In the unlikely case that your dog is disturbing other guests, we may have to ask you to take your dog out.

We permit dogs in a select number of our rooms. If you are planning to bring a dog, please book directly with us and ensure that you have booked a dog-friendly room.We charge £15 per dog per night.

Do you cater for allergies & dietary requirements?

We endeavour to cater for any allergies & dietary requirements where possible. We usually have vegetarian or vegan options on the menu & many dishes are already gluten free. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, please let us know at the time of booking. We will always try but we may not be able to accommodate specific allergies & dietary requirements on the day, knowing in advance means the kitchen can prepare for your visit.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

Please see our Accessibility page here for more information.

Are you accessible by public transport?

We are in a very rural location with no bus services. If you would like to get a taxi home, we highly recommend booking one before you come. It is unlikely a local taxi company will have availability on the day.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes we have free WiFi for our guests to use.

Will everything on your sample menu be available when I visit?

Our sample menu is available to see here. This is designed to give you an idea of the type / style of food you can expect to find on our menu when you visit, not everything you see on this menu is available every day. Our menu changes with the seasons & availability from our local suppliers. We have a selection of favourite items which are always on our menu such as Venison Burger & Steak but our specials board changes weekly & sometimes daily.

We are bringing our baby. Do you have highchairs & a baby change?

We have highchairs available – please let us know that you need one when booking & we can have it at the table ready for your arrival. We also have a baby change table available.

Do you have parking?

Yes we have a large carpark to the side of the pub.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes we do – you can purchase them directly through our website here. Please note gift vouchers can only be purchased on our website, they cannot be purchased in the Pub or over the phone. Gift vouchers are available as monetary vouchers or for 1or 2 night stays.
